The Medina County Historical Society will host a special quilt, coverlet and blanket show presented at the Weymouth Preservation Society Museum, 3314 Myers Rd., Medina, 44256 on Saturday March 26th from 12 to 4 pm. Quilts were an important item for comfort as well as decoration and used to insulate drafts from windows. Quilting bees were an important social activity whereby neighbors and families could sew and design unique patterns from their ancestors and home countries.
The show will display multiple quilts, blankets and coverlets from the society's collection and private collections.
An admission donation of $5.00 is requested and masks will be required.
