Medina County Park District’s summer concert series, sponsored by Friends of Medina County Parks, brings a variety of music the whole family is sure to enjoy. Bring your own chair or blanket to enjoy this concert on the lawn at The Lodge at Allardale!.
June 23rd: Morning Star Bluegrass Band will fill the lawn with the sounds of bluegrass, gospel, and Americana music in a style reminiscent of the bluegrass sounds of the 1930s and 40s. Join us for a toe‑tapping good time as this band’s energy is contagious!
July 21st: “Hip to That” is a Cleveland‑based jazz duo that specializes in tunes from the Great American Songbook, jazz standards, and pop tunes with a jazzy twist. The band plays all over Northeast Ohio--from Cleveland to Canton to Wooster. Hip to That is known for its energy, humor, and hip arrangements. It is also guaranteed to give you a swingin’ good time, so bring your dancing shoes and enjoy!
August 4th: “Circle of Friends”, a group that loves to share positive energy and joy with its rock/folk‑inspired music performed on acoustic guitar, stand-up bass, percussion, and keyboard. The group’s original and cover songs weave together a tapestry of melodies that inspire and uplift one’s spirit. Circle of Friends also celebrates our relationship with the natural world through songs and stories.
